Audit log

The audit log is a paper trail of who changed what on your board, and when. Use it when a job disappeared, a member was invited, or a setting changed and you need to know who did it.

Open the audit log

1. Go to Settings → Audit log (under Administration, after Members).
2. You need Owner or Admin access. Members do not see this page.
3. On Free, Starter, or Basic the page is locked. Upgrade to Grow to open it.

What you see

Each row is one change: the time, who did it, what they did, and which record they touched.

Click a row to open the details. The drawer shows the actor, resource, IP address (when Cavuno recorded one), browser, and the Before and After values for that change.

Filter the table by Resource (job, member, settings, API key, and so on) or Actor type:

• Member — someone signed into the dashboard
• API key — a CI deploy or script using an API key
• OAuth — an OAuth client
• Employer — an employer acting on their company
• System — an automated Cavuno action

Grow shows the last 90 days. Advanced and Enterprise show the full history.

Export the log

On Advanced or Enterprise, open the ... menu and choose Export. The CSV includes the human-readable action plus the machine action key, actor, resource, time, and IP.

On Grow, Export opens an upgrade prompt. Export needs Advanced or Enterprise.

What is recorded

Admin changes write a row in the same moment as the change itself. That includes jobs, companies, members, invitations, blog posts, domains, redirects, plans, coupons, feeds, webhooks, API keys, integrations, imports, invoices, and backfill.

The log does not record builder conversations, support chat, or candidates browsing the public board. Some dashboard actions may omit an IP address.

The log is evidence, not an undo button. To reverse a change, open the current record and edit it.
