How to Add Employer Companies
Create a new company profile on your job board.
Add employer profiles before posting jobs for them.
Create a company
- Go to Companies in the sidebar
- Click Add company
- Fill in company details
- Click Save
Bulk import
To add multiple companies at once:
- Go to Companies
- Click Import
- Upload your company data file
- Review and confirm the import
Company information
Required fields
- Company name: The official company name
Recommended fields
- Logo: Company logo image
- Website: Link to company website
- Summary: Brief tagline or summary (displayed in company listings)
- Description: Detailed overview of the company
Optional fields
- Slug: URL-friendly identifier (auto-generated from name if not provided)
- Social links: X profile, LinkedIn, Facebook URLs
- Automatically add jobs from this company: Enable to backfill jobs from this company
Uploading a company logo
- Click the logo upload area
- Select an image file
- Recommended: Square image, minimum 200x200 pixels
- Formats: PNG or JPG
Writing company descriptions
Summary
A short tagline that appears in company listings. Keep it to one sentence.
Description
A more detailed overview. A good description helps job seekers:
- Understand what the company does
- Learn about company culture
- Decide if they want to apply
Tips:
- Keep it concise (1-3 paragraphs)
- Highlight what makes the company unique
- Mention industry and key products/services
- Include notable achievements or recognition
Company page URL
After creation, the company has a public profile at: yourboard.com/companies/company-slug
Job seekers can browse all companies and see their open positions.
Enable backfilling
To automatically import jobs from this company:
- Edit the company
- Check Automatically add jobs from this company
- Click Save changes
