What file formats does Cavuno accept for imports?

Job imports accept CSV or XML files, plus a recurring public XML feed URL. Company imports accept CSV or XML. Subscriber imports accept CSV. Use UTF-8 encoding and a header row for CSV. XML works for both flat feeds and RSS-style channel feeds.

Can I import jobs via CSV or XML?

Yes. Upload a CSV or XML file under Jobs → Import. Cavuno auto-maps columns to the right fields and posts the batch in the background. Imported jobs are deduplicated in three layers: by application URL, by external ID (such as an ATS requisition ID), and by matching the company plus a normalized title, location, and description fingerprint. Re-importing the same job updates the existing listing instead of creating a duplicate. For an always-on feed, add a recurring XML feed URL under Import from feed. Backfill remains available for aggregation from career pages.

Can I keep a job feed in sync automatically?

Yes. Under Jobs → Import → Import from feed, add a public XML feed URL and choose a pull interval (1, 3, 6, 12, or 24 hours). Cavuno maps fields with AI on the first run, then updates, adds, and optionally expires jobs on each successful pull. See Recurring XML feeds.

Is there a row limit for imports?

There is no hard row limit for one-shot uploads, but the file is capped at 10 MB. For very large imports, split the file into batches. Recurring feeds can process large feeds within worker limits.

Can I export all of my data if I leave Cavuno?

Yes. Every primary table (jobs, companies, employers, candidates, subscribers, blog posts, authors, and tags) exports to CSV from its '...' toolbar menu, and each has a matching v1 API endpoint. See Export your data. Applications are the one exception: they belong to the employer's hiring pipeline, so operators do not export them.
