Build your first draft

Start with a short brief that explains who your board serves and what visitors should be able to do. The builder works on a draft, so you can review and refine the result before publishing.

Before you begin

You need a Cavuno board with AI builder access. Have your board name, audience, geographic focus, and any brand references ready. Add a few real jobs if you want to review the design with representative content.

Create the draft

1. Open Website builder in your board's sidebar. Allow the workspace and preview to load.
2. Enter your brief in the chat and select Send. Include the pages and actions that matter for your first version.
3. Watch the preview as the builder works. When it finishes, read its response and check the result.
4. Send one focused follow-up, such as changing the homepage layout or correcting the navigation.
5. Wait for the updated version and its checks before reviewing it again.

For example:

Build a career center for the fictional Coastal Engineering Association, serving civil engineers in Australia. Use navy, white, and a restrained professional style. Put job search first, show company and location clearly in each result, and include a prominent Post a job action. Add an About page describing the association. Use the board's job data for listings.

If you have a reference, attach it and explain what to use: the colors, layout, typography, or logo. Avoid asking the builder to guess which parts matter.

Check the first result

Review the homepage, job search, a job detail page, and the main employer action. Switch between Desktop and Mobile preview sizes. Confirm that the board name, locations, links, and visible content match your brief.

A successful build is a starting point for your review. Automatic checks do not decide whether the copy is accurate or the design suits your audience.

Troubleshooting

If the preview does not appear, use Retry preview. If the version shows Needs attention, inspect the message and use Fix when offered. If the result misses your intent, identify the page, what is wrong, and what it should do instead. See Write useful prompts.
