Service products

Sell employer or job seeker services that grant no posting entitlements, with a Stripe price or a contact CTA.

Service products are catalogue rows for work you fulfil outside Cavuno's posting and access entitlements. Examples include headhunting, resume review, employer branding packages, and similar add-ons.

Create them from SettingsProductsCreate product, then choose Employer service or Job seeker service.

Employer service vs job seeker service

Employer service is bought by a company. Holdings show on the company side of your board.

Job seeker service is bought by a candidate. Holdings show on the candidate side.

Pick the audience that will pay and receive the fulfilment. Do not use a service purpose for anything that also grants posts, featured slots, talent unlocks, or membership benefits. Those belong on the matching entitlement product type.

Priced vs contact

Every service uses one sale shape:

Priced (self-serve): set a Stripe price. Employers or candidates check out on the board like any other paid product.

Contact: set a free-form price label (for example "From $2,500" or "15% of first year salary"), a CTA label, and a destination (email, form URL, or page). The public card shows the label and CTA instead of a checkout button. Use this when the price cannot be a fixed Stripe amount.

Contact services do not create Stripe charges in Cavuno. Track fulfilment in your own sales process.

Create a service

  1. Go to SettingsProducts
  2. Click Create productEmployer service or Job seeker service
  3. Enter name and description
  4. Choose priced or contact:
    • Priced: currency and amount (Stripe must be connected)
    • Contact: price text, CTA text, and CTA destination
  5. Optionally add custom attributes for your own records
  6. Save, then set the product public when you are ready to show it

Where they appear

Public employer services show on your employer pricing surfaces with other employer products. Public job seeker services show with candidate offers when you surface them on the board.

Older "sales led" contact cards are migrated into employer service products. Edit them from the same Products table. Prefer Employer service for every new contact-led card.

Next steps

Review the rest of the products catalogue. For memberships that grant discounts or included posts, use memberships instead of a service.
