Plans and pricing

Cavuno is a paid subscription. New accounts start on a 14-day Starter trial with no credit card. After that you can stay on the Free plan while you build, and you only pay to keep a board public. Prices below are what you pay Cavuno for your subscription, not what employers pay to post on your board (that is pricing you set yourself through Stripe).

Plans

Monthly prices, with the effective per-month cost when billed annually in brackets:

• Free ($0): 100 active jobs, 300 subscribers, 1 team seat. Your board stays private (not public) and API access is not included. Good for building and exploring before launch.
• Starter ($39/mo, or $348/year which is $29/mo): 500 active jobs, 1,000 subscribers, and unlimited team seats. Adds a public board and API access. The usual starting point for a new board going live.
• Basic ($105/mo, or $948/year which is $79/mo): 1,500 active jobs, 5,000 subscribers, unlimited team seats, the option to remove powered by Cavuno from the footer, and a custom email domain.
• Grow ($249/mo, or $2,388/year which is $199/mo): 5,000 active jobs, 15,000 subscribers, unlimited team seats, a 90-day audit log, branding removal, and a custom email domain.
• Advanced ($449/mo, or $4,308/year which is $359/mo): 15,000 active jobs, 45,000 subscribers, unlimited team seats, unlimited audit-log history with CSV export, branding removal, and a custom email domain.
• Scale ($849/mo, or $8,148/year which is $679/mo): 50,000 active jobs, 100,000 subscribers, unlimited team seats, the same audit-log features as Advanced, branding removal, and a custom email domain.
• Enterprise: custom limits and pricing for very high volume. Contact the team.

Every paid plan includes unlimited team seats, AI tagging and enrichment, semantic search, backfill, the website builder, the built-in blog, candidate profiles, custom domains, the embeddable jobs widget, and the ability to charge employers for posts. Higher plans mainly raise capacity. Basic and above add removal of the Powered by Cavuno link and a custom email domain. Grow adds a 90-day audit log. Advanced, Scale, and Enterprise keep unlimited history and let you export it.

The subscriber limit is Email subscribers: people receiving job alerts or matching emails. A live job-alert stream and a live matching-email stream each count as one. One email with several saved alerts still counts as one job-alert stream. Waitlisted people do not count. When the allowance is full, new opt-ins are waitlisted instead of rejected.

What the active jobs limit covers

The active jobs number on each plan is how many listings can be live at once from backfill and from jobs you publish in the dashboard. When you reach it, new backfill pauses and the dashboard shows an upgrade prompt if you try to publish another job yourself. See Configure backfill for how imports behave at the cap.

Employers who submit through your public Post a job form are never blocked by this limit. Paying customers can still post even when you are at the cap.

The Starter trial, the free plan, and going live

New accounts get 14 days of the Starter plan with no credit card. During the trial you can publish the board, connect a custom domain, and use Starter limits. The trial is announced on the last onboarding screen; the sidebar plan pill reads Starter trial.

When the 14 days end, the account returns to the Free plan. A board you published during the trial goes back behind its password unless you have subscribed. Jobs and settings stay in place.

The Free plan is yours to keep as long as you want while you build. A Free-plan board stays private. To keep a board public after the trial, upgrade to Starter or above from Settings → Billing. See the quick start for the signup and publish steps.

Running more than one board

There is no limit on how many boards one account can own. Each board is billed separately: it has its own plan and subscription, and its limits (active jobs, subscribers, audit log) apply to that board alone. Upgrading one board does not change the plan of any other.

You can have one unpaid board at a time. A board on the Free plan or the Starter trial counts as unpaid. To create another board, first subscribe your existing unpaid board to Starter or above. If you try while you still have an unpaid board, the dashboard shows a Free board limit reached message.

The Starter trial is once per person, not once per board. A new board created after your trial starts on the Free plan. Subscribe it from that board's Settings → Billing when you are ready to publish it. Switch between boards from Your job boards at the top of the dashboard sidebar.

There is no whole-board duplicate or clone action. Create the additional board separately, then use data export to move supported content. Jobs, companies, and blog posts can be exported and re-imported into the new board. Candidate profiles, subscriptions, domains, board settings, and the website design do not move as one package, so configure those separately.

Annual billing and discounts

Annual billing is available on every paid plan and saves roughly 20–26% compared to paying monthly. Annual totals are $348 for Starter, $948 for Basic, $2,388 for Grow, $4,308 for Advanced, and $8,148 for Scale. That works out to $29, $79, $199, $359, and $679 per month respectively. To change cadence, go to Settings > Billing and choose the annual or monthly option for your plan. The change takes effect at renewal.

Changing plans

Upgrades on the same billing cadence take effect after successful payment, with an immediate prorated charge. Downgrades and changes between monthly and annual billing take effect at renewal. Existing subscribers retain their current rates and allowances through renewals until they voluntarily change plans. See Manage subscription for the steps.
