Claude
Run your job board from Claude: post jobs, manage companies, write blog posts and review analytics.
A
JRun your job board from Claude. Ask it to post a job, update a company, draft a blog post or report on last month's traffic, and Claude does the work in Cavuno for you.
Cavuno is listed in Claude's connector directory. The connector works in Claude on the web, Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile apps.
You need a paid Cavuno plan (Starter or higher, or the Starter trial). In Cavuno, Settings → Integrations → Claude has an Add to Claude button, the Claude Code install command, and the full MCP server URL.
Connect Claude
- Open Cavuno in Claude's connector directory, or select Add to Claude in Settings → Integrations → Claude.
- Select Connect.
- Sign in to Cavuno.
- Choose your board and approve access.
Back in a Claude conversation, ask something like "How many jobs are live on my board?" to check the connection.
Connectors you add on the web are also available in Claude Desktop and the mobile apps.
What Claude can do
Claude can do most of what you do in the dashboard, for example:
- Post a job from a link or pasted description, or update, pause and expire jobs.
- Find, create and update companies.
- Draft, edit and publish blog posts.
- Review traffic, job views, apply clicks and search performance.
- Check and change board settings.
Claude reads freely. It looks up jobs, companies, posts and analytics without asking. Each change asks first: Claude shows what it is about to create, update or delete, and waits for you to approve it.
Claude Code
The Cavuno plugin adds Cavuno to Claude Code. In Claude Code, run:
Or, from your terminal:
Sign in to Cavuno the first time the plugin connects. The plugin uses the same connector as Claude's apps, so Claude asks before each change. It also adds:
- Skills for common job board work: posting and sourcing jobs, managing employers, setting up pricing, planning and writing blog posts, and reviewing performance.
- Commands such as
/cavuno:post-job,/cavuno:import-jobs,/cavuno:blog,/cavuno:performanceand/cavuno:check.
Full MCP
The full MCP server at https://mcp.cavuno.com/mcp lets Claude write code that chains many steps in one go. Use it for bulk edits, exports and CSV imports. It is more powerful, but Claude does not ask before each change.
| Feature | Connector | Full MCP |
|---|---|---|
| Tools | Separate tools to read, search, create, update and delete | One tool that runs code against the whole Cavuno API |
| Confirmations | Claude asks before each change | No confirmation for each change |
| Bulk exports, resume downloads and CSV imports | Use the full MCP or the dashboard | Available |
| Setup | Claude's connector directory | Custom connector with the server URL |
To add the full MCP as a custom connector:
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors.
- Select + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name the connector Cavuno.
- Enter
https://mcp.cavuno.com/mcpas the URL. - Follow the prompts, sign in to Cavuno, and approve access.
Who can add a custom connector depends on your Claude plan and organization. See Claude's connector guide.
Coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex can also connect to the full MCP directly. See MCP.
Limits
- The connector can't run bulk exports, download protected files such as resumes, or upload files such as CSV imports. Use the full MCP or the dashboard for those.
- Stripe setup, tax settings and payments stay in the dashboard.
- Claude can only do what your Cavuno role allows, and your plan's limits apply.
