Share a draft and collect feedback
Share a preview with reviewers and bring their feedback into the builder chat.
A
JUse Share to let reviewers view a draft before it goes live. Review access is separate from publishing and from inviting someone to manage your Cavuno account.
Before you begin
Prepare a draft that is ready for feedback and decide who should see it. Have the reviewers' email addresses ready if you want restricted access. Choose a specific question, such as whether members can find a relevant job easily.
Share the draft
- Select Share in the builder.
- Enable the share link if it is off.
- Choose Anyone with the link for link access, or Restricted for invited reviewers verified by email.
- For restricted access, add the reviewers' email addresses and select Invite.
- Use Copy link and share it with the intended reviewers.
For example, invite your association's membership lead to review the candidate journey and its partnerships lead to review the employer page. Ask each person to send feedback by email or your usual team chat, naming the page and element that needs attention.
Work through feedback
Comments on shared previews are currently unavailable. Collect feedback through email, your team chat, or a review call, then write the agreed changes in the builder chat.
Include the page, the visible problem, and the desired result. For example: “On the employer page, move the Post a job button above the pricing explanation so it is visible sooner on mobile.” Attach a screenshot if it helps identify the change.
Review the updated preview with your reviewers. Changes still need to be checked and published before visitors see them.
Check access and changes
Open the share URL in a private window to confirm the expected access experience. Restricted links should ask reviewers to verify an invited email address. After addressing feedback, inspect the affected page and confirm the requested change.
Troubleshooting
If a reviewer cannot open the link, check that it is enabled and that restricted access includes the email address they are using. If the link was disabled, re-enable sharing and copy the new link. If feedback refers to an older design, confirm which page and version the reviewer saw before asking the builder to change it.
Next steps
Preview and publish once the draft is approved. Use tasks and versions to retain another design direction.
