Who owns your job board
Your job boards, content, domains, revenue and site code belong to you. How ownership, ending a subscription and moving your board work under the Terms.
A
JYour job boards belong to you. The Terms of Service give Cavuno a license to run the service for you, and nothing more.
What you own
- Content and code. Listings, company profiles, branding, blog posts and the code and files of the sites you build.
- Revenue. Sales on your board are paid into your own Stripe account, with you as merchant of record.
- Domains. You register and renew your custom domain. Point it anywhere, at any time.
- Open-source parts. Builder sites start from Cavuno's starter template and SDK, both MIT licensed.
If a subscription ends
| Who ends it | What happens |
|---|---|
| You | Cancel any time in your account settings. Access continues to the end of your billing period. |
| Cavuno, without cause | A written reason, at least 30 days' notice, sites and domains keep running until the end date, and a pro-rata refund of prepaid time. No exit fee. |
| Cavuno, for cause | Serious or repeated breaches, unpaid fees, legal orders and credible threats. Other breaches get 14 days to fix. Cavuno restricts a site before closing an account where that is enough. |
In every case, ending a subscription gives Cavuno no rights in your boards, content, domains, Stripe account or customers.
Moving your board
Until your account ends:
- Export your tables to CSV. See Export your data.
- Check out your site's code with the Cavuno CLI on plans with API access, or ask hi@cavuno.com for a copy. See Use your own coding agent.
- Email hi@cavuno.com for a coordinated return of anything the exports do not cover, such as applications.
- Ask Cavuno to remove your custom domain, then point its DNS at your new host.
