How to Customize Your Job Board Menu
Customize your job board's navigation menu and footer.
Control what sections appear in your job board's navigation menu.
Access navigation settings
- Go to Board settings in the sidebar, then click the Navigation tab
- You'll see sections for navigation labels, custom links, and footer
Navigation labels
Customize the text that appears in your main navigation:
- Homepage: The homepage link label
- Companies: The companies directory link label
- Post a job CTA: The job posting call-to-action link label
- Blog: The blog section link label
Changing labels
- Enter new text in any label field
- Click Save
- The navigation updates immediately
Label examples
- Rename "Companies" to "Employers" or "Hiring Companies"
- Rename "Blog" to "Career Tips" or "Resources"
- Rename "Post a Job" to "Hire Talent" or "Post an Opening"
Custom links
Add additional links to your navigation:
- Click + Add custom link
- Enter the link label and URL
- Click Save changes
Custom links appear alongside the default navigation items.
Footer description
Add a description that appears above the legal links in your board's footer:
- Enter text in the Footer description field
- Click Save changes
This is a good place for a brief tagline or description of your job board.
Navigation on mobile
On mobile devices, navigation items appear in a hamburger menu. Test your board on mobile to ensure:
- All items fit comfortably
- Labels aren't too long
- Important sections are easy to find
