The Search queries card on Home now compares each query and page with the previous period, with views for top, rising and falling queries and for queries close to the first page of Google.

The Search queries card on Home now shows what changed, not only what ranks. Every query and page is compared with the same number of days just before your selected range.

  • Top sorts by clicks
  • Rising and Falling sort by the biggest gain or drop in clicks. Falling includes queries that had clicks before and have dropped out of search results
  • Striking distance lists queries whose best page ranks between position 5 and 20 with at least 50 impressions, next to that page, so you can see where a better page title or a few internal links are most likely to pay off
  • Search pages shows the same views for your pages
  • Each row shows clicks, impressions, CTR and position, with the change from the previous period for clicks, impressions and position. New marks a query that wasn't there before
  • Search the rows by query or page URL

Both periods use only days Google has finished processing, so changes compare complete days with complete days. The footer shows the last day included.

The card appears once Search Console is connected. See Dashboard analytics.
