Simpler team invitations and stronger two-factor sign-in

Team invites open one page where new and existing users join your board, and accounts with two-factor authentication are asked for their code whichever way they sign in.

Joining your team from an invite now happens on one page, and if you use two-factor authentication, it now covers every way you sign in.

Team invitations

The invite email opens one page that shows your board, styled like the sign-in and sign-up pages.

  • New to Cavuno: enter your name and a password and you're in. The invite link already confirms your address, so there is no separate confirmation email
  • Already have an account: sign in with your password or Google on the same page and you join straight away. Accounts with two-factor authentication enter their authenticator code first
  • Link opened from somewhere else: if the link didn't come from the invite email, Cavuno sends a 6-digit code to the invited address to confirm it first

See Invite team members.

Two-factor whichever way you sign in

If you've turned on two-factor authentication, Cavuno now asks for your authenticator code whichever way you sign in: password, email sign-in link, email code or Google.
