Build your website with your own coding agent

Check out your AI website builder site as a local Git repository, edit it with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any coding agent, then submit, preview and publish it with the Cavuno CLI. Agent builds do not use credits.

You can now work on your AI website builder site with the coding agent you already use. The Cavuno CLI checks out your site's source as a local Git repository. Edit it with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any other agent, then submit it back. Cavuno builds and checks every version, and you preview and publish it as usual.

It is open to every board on a paid plan with the AI website builder turned on.

How it works

  1. Create an API key with a Builder permission in Settings → Developer → API keys, and export it in your terminal:
  1. Check out your site and move into it:
  1. Open the folder in your agent and describe the change. The checkout includes the site's AGENTS.md, which most agents read automatically.
  2. Send the result back and wait for the checks:
  1. Preview it with builder preview, then publish with builder publish or from Website builder.

Each submission appears in the draft's history as Local agent update, next to the versions made in the builder chat.

It works like Git

Submitting adds a new version to your draft. It never overwrites newer work and never publishes on its own. If someone changed the draft while your agent was working, builder pull merges their changes into yours, like git pull. Resolve any conflicts, commit and submit again.

Every version is checked

Cavuno builds each submitted version and confirms that it builds cleanly, installs exactly from its lockfile, sets no cookies beyond its own domain, and serves no executables or malware. builder status --wait exits as soon as the version is ready to publish, or tells you which check failed and why.

No credits used

Your agent brings its own model, so builds, previews and screenshots it requests do not use AI website builder credits. Each board can submit up to 100 agent builds and take 30 screenshots per UTC day.

Agents that support remote MCP servers can also connect to https://mcp.cavuno.com/builder with the same API key to check status, run checks, and take previews and screenshots.
