Employers browsing your talent directory can now tell who is still around. Candidate cards and profiles show roughly when the candidate was last active, such as "Active this week".
- It is a rough window, never the exact time: today, this week, this month, in the last 3 months, or longer ago
- Only signed-in employers see it, and only for candidates whose job search status is Actively looking or Open to offers
- Activity means real use: signing in, or browsing, searching, applying, or editing a profile while signed in. It is recorded at most once an hour. Background refreshes, such as checking for new messages, do not count
- A candidate stops sharing it by setting their status to Not looking or hiding their profile
- The board privacy policy template now mentions this activity record
In your dashboard, the job seekers list has a sortable Last active column with the exact time. The candidates and employers APIs' lastActiveAt, and the last_active_at column in CSV exports, now count signed-in use as well as sign-ins.
The talent directory API returns the window as lastActive on directory entries and profiles. It is null for anyone who should not see it. The starter template shows it under the candidate's location.
