Talent access plans let job boards monetize candidate discovery directly. Employers can buy access to unlock redacted profiles or contact candidates from the talent directory.

Two access models

  • Paid messaging: employers browse full profiles and spend candidate contact credits only when they start a conversation
  • Paid unlocks and messaging: employers see redacted profiles until they spend a resume unlock credit, then use a separate contact credit to message the candidate
  • Consistent redaction: locked directory cards and profile pages redact the same identity and profile details, including breadcrumbs
  • Logged-out employer flow: logged-out viewers who click Message are sent to employer sign-up when employer accounts are enabled

Plans and checkout

  • Subscription plans: sell recurring monthly or annual talent access with credits that refresh each billing period
  • One-time packs: sell a fixed pack of resume unlocks and candidate contacts without renewal
  • Stripe checkout: employers pay through embedded Stripe checkout on the board
  • Coupons: discount codes can apply to all plans or specific talent access plans

Board controls

  • Talent access model: choose the board’s model before creating the first plan, then change it later by deleting or archiving current plans
  • Editable copy: plan sections, paywall text, unlock cards, messaging states, and public CTA copy are editable in the visual builder
  • Availability guardrails: talent access plans are hidden when candidate profiles or employer accounts are disabled
  • Billing management: subscribers can manage billing through the Stripe customer portal

Why it matters

Job boards with strong candidate pools can now sell proactive sourcing as its own product, not just job posts. Employers who want inbound applicants can buy posting plans. Employers who want direct access to candidates can buy talent access. Both revenue streams run through the same Cavuno billing system with zero revenue share.
