Docs search

Let your agent search the Cavuno documentation for how the product works before it acts.

The search_docs tool searches Cavuno’s public documentation, blog, and marketing pages. Use it when an agent needs to know how Cavuno works rather than what is in your account: what Cavuno does automatically, what a setting changes, or how to do something in the dashboard.

Search the docs

Tool: search_docs

Pass a plain-language question as query, for example How do I require approval for free job posts?. Leading and trailing whitespace is trimmed. A query that is empty or longer than 500 characters is rejected.

The tool returns up to six matching sections:

Each result has the page title, its url, and the matching content. Ask the agent to cite the url of any section it relies on, and to say the docs don’t cover a question when no result answers it instead of guessing.

Availability

search_docs is available on the Operator MCP endpoint at mcp.cavuno.com/mcp for every connection, including read-only ones. It needs no API key permission: the content is public, and your credential only identifies the caller. The tool is not offered on the /builder endpoint.

Unlike search and execute, search_docs takes a plain argument, not JavaScript code, and it does not read or change your board’s data. To discover API endpoints and request schemas, use search against the OpenAPI document.
