Your board can now take tips. Job seekers, employers and newsletter readers who get value from your board can thank you for it on your board's tip page. Set it up from Settings → Products → Create product → Tip jar.
- Three suggested amounts, plus any amount the visitor types, with an optional minimum
- An optional note of up to 280 characters, which you read in Transactions and in your tip email
- A tip count on the tip page, when you turn it on
- A thank-you message after paying, and a Tip receipt email you can edit in the email editor
- Tips in Transactions, with the tipper's email, their note, the receipt and refunds
- Archive the tip jar to take the tip page down, and unarchive it to bring it back with the same settings
Tips go straight to your Stripe account, and Cavuno takes no fee. New sites from the AI website builder include a tip page and a Leave a tip link in the footer.
If you build your own frontend, the tip page needs @cavuno/board 4.62.0 or later. Its new board.tipJar namespace reads the tip jar and opens the checkout, and BOARD_PATHS.tip gives the page's address. The Operator API sets up the tip jar and lists tips, and the tip.received and tip.refunded webhooks announce each tip.
