AI fill for jobs and companies

Turn on Fill with AI for a custom field and Cavuno answers it for every new job or company, from the posting or the company profile. Preview the answers first, and fill the jobs and companies you already have.

Custom fields are only useful when they are filled in. Imported jobs rarely come with an answer for "Visa sponsorship" or "Employer type", and nobody wants to open hundreds of jobs to set it by hand. Now AI can answer them for you.

How it works

Open Settings → Job form or Settings → Company profile, edit a custom field and switch on Fill with AI.

  • Jobs: every new job is filled from its posting, whether you add it, an employer posts it, it comes through the API or it is imported
  • Companies: a company is filled from its profile when it is created with a description or its profile is enriched
  • Preview: switching on runs the field on a few recent jobs or companies, so you see the answers before anything is saved
  • Instructions: if an answer is off, click Add instructions and tell the AI what to do differently, such as "Use the employer, not the role"
  • Allow blank AI answers: ticked by default, so the AI leaves a field empty when the posting does not say. Untick it to always pick the closest answer

AI only fills empty fields. An answer you or a poster set is never replaced.

Fill what you already have

When you switch on Fill with AI, Cavuno asks whether to fill your existing live jobs or companies too. You can run it again any time from the field's menu with Fill empty jobs or Fill empty companies.

AI fill works on text, number, yes or no, single select and multi-select fields. In the dashboard, answers written by AI show a Filled by AI badge until someone edits them.

Read Job form settings and Profile fields and collections to set it up, including the API.
