Collect custom details at Stripe Checkout

Ask for a phone number, contact person, and up to three custom fields on Stripe Checkout. Configure everything from the Products catalogue without mixing tax IDs into the same sheet.

Paid checkouts often need more than a card. Purchase orders, cost centers, and a reachable phone number matter for fulfillment, but they are not tax settings. Checkout fields gives each board a dedicated place to configure what Stripe Checkout collects from buyers.

Open it from Products

On Settings → Products, open the header ... menu and choose Checkout fields. The sheet is available whenever you manage paid products, next to coupons, paywall settings, and taxes.

Phone, contact person, and custom fields

  • Phone number: don't collect, or require it (Stripe Checkout has no optional phone mode)
  • Contact person: don't collect, optional, or required — the buyer's individual name at Checkout
  • Custom fields: up to three text, numeric, or dropdown fields with your own labels

Set each custom field's label and type when you add it. After that you can only mark it required or remove it, so completed Checkout Sessions stay consistent.

Kept separate from taxes

Billing address, VAT or tax ID, and business name remain under Taxes. Checkout fields only cover the buyer details you choose for Stripe Checkout itself.

Connect Stripe, open Checkout fields, and save the details you need on the next paid checkout.
