Single sign-on for your board

Let candidates and employers sign in to your job board with your member system or identity provider, using OpenID Connect or OAuth 2.0.

Associations, alumni networks and member communities already have a login. Now your job board can use it. Connect your member system or identity provider, and people sign in to your board with a Continue with button instead of creating another password.

Go to Settings → Sign-in methods and click Add SSO connection. Cavuno works with any provider that supports OpenID Connect or OAuth 2.0, including Okta and most member management systems.

Choose who can use it

  • Candidates and employers: switch each role on or off per connection, so members can sign in with SSO while employers keep using email
  • New people: create an account on first sign-in, or allow only people who already have a board account
  • Your button: name it after your organization, such as "Continue with Acme Members", and add your logo
  • Stable identity: Cavuno links each person by their provider's member ID, so they find the same account even if their email changes
  • Test before you go live: test the connection from the drawer, then save it

The Continue with button appears on the sign-in page of boards built with the AI website builder. Boards built with the SDK read connections from the board context and start the sign-in themselves.

Test from localhost and previews

Add your local or preview address under Settings → SDK → Development origins, and SSO sign-ins return there, so you can test the whole flow before you deploy.

Available on every plan. Read Set up SSO, the Okta guide, or Troubleshooting SSO.

Other improvements

  • Back to the job after verifying email: a job seeker who clicks Apply, signs up and then verifies their email now returns to the job they were applying for, instead of a generic page
  • Contact page in the board context: the public board context now reports whether the Contact page is on, so a custom frontend can show or hide its link
