Recurring XML job feeds

Point Cavuno at an XML feed URL and it pulls on a schedule, maps fields with AI on the first run, updates changed jobs, and expires ones that drop out of the feed.

One-shot XML import was the first step. You can now attach a feed URL and let Cavuno keep the board in sync without re-uploading files.

How it works

  • Scheduled pulls: pick 1, 3, 6, 12, or 24 hours (default 6h). The worker fetches the feed on that cadence
  • AI mapping on first run: the same discovery used for one-shot import maps columns the first time; later runs reuse it
  • Updates and expiry: changed jobs update in place; jobs missing for two consecutive runs expire when that option is on. Empty or unparseable feeds never wipe the board
  • Needs review: if a run looks unsafe (for example a large share of active feed jobs missing at once), the feed flips to needs review and expiry is held back
