Custom email domains and bigger sitemaps

Send job alerts and account emails from your own domain instead of Cavuno's, and let search engines discover every skill and location page on your board.

Two improvements that make your board feel and rank like a first-party product.

Custom email sender domain

  • Send from your domain: configure a verified sender per board so job alerts, candidate verifications, and password-reset emails arrive from noreply@yourboard.com instead of a Cavuno address
  • DNS verification: add the SPF and DKIM records, click verify, and Cavuno provisions the sender for you
  • Branded across every flow: transactional emails, job alert digests, candidate notifications, and direct-message emails all use the configured domain
  • Better deliverability: sending from a domain you own lifts inbox placement and removes the "via" annotation that some email clients show on shared sender domains

Bigger, smarter sitemaps

  • Skill and location pages indexed: every skill, location, and skill-by-location page on your board is now in the sitemap, opening up long-tail SEO that wasn't reachable before
  • Scales to thousands of jobs: the sitemap is now sharded so large boards no longer hit Google's per-file URL limit
  • Higher quality crawl: browse pages with fewer than five jobs are excluded so search engines spend their crawl budget on pages that convert

Also shipped

  • Custom domain redirects: www.yourboard.com and yourboard.com now resolve to the same canonical host with proper redirects
  • RSS feeds on custom domains: feeds now emit absolute URLs on your board's public host, fixing breakage on custom domains
