Custom domains on Cloudflare's global network

Custom domains are now served through Cloudflare. Boards load faster worldwide, SSL certificates are issued and renewed automatically, and apex domains work no matter what your DNS provider supports.

We rebuilt how custom domains are served. New domains route through Cloudflare's global network instead of hitting our origin directly.

What you get

  • Faster everywhere: your board is served from Cloudflare data centers close to each visitor, with DDoS protection included
  • Automatic SSL: certificates are issued when your domain activates and renewed without any action from you
  • Apex domains that just work: connect yourboard.com and Cavuno detects what your DNS provider supports — providers with CNAME flattening serve the apex directly, and everywhere else bare-domain visitors are redirected to www, which is always supported
  • Ownership verified first: a TXT record proves you control the domain before it activates, so a stale DNS record can never point someone else's domain at your board

Setup is the same

Add your domain, create the records shown in the manage dialog, and watch each one flip to Ready. Domains connected before this change keep working exactly as they were.
