Blog post view counts

The blog manager now shows lifetime views for every post. Counts exclude known crawler traffic and follow a post when its slug changes.

The Posts table now shows how many times each article has been viewed. Board owners can spot the posts attracting an audience, compare the catalog at a glance, and decide what deserves an update or another round of promotion without opening a separate analytics report.

Built into the blog manager

  • Lifetime total per post: the new Views column sits beside the existing updated date and status on desktop, with the same count on each mobile post card
  • No title matching: counts are joined to the canonical blog path, so similarly named posts never share traffic
  • Slug changes are preserved: when a published URL changes, views recorded against every previous slug continue to roll into the current post total

Cleaner traffic counts

Known crawler traffic is filtered before it reaches the blog view total. That keeps automated fetches from tools such as Startup Insider from looking like human readership and brings the Posts table in line with the crawler filtering used across Cavuno analytics.

If reporting is temporarily unavailable, Cavuno hides the Views column instead of blocking the blog manager. Posts remain editable while analytics recovers.
